ClearAIdea is an AI-powered project planning app. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Your ideas, tasks, phases, and notes are stored locally on your device. For free users, this content never leaves your device. ClearAIdea Pro subscribers can sync this content across their devices, in which case a copy is stored on our servers — see "Cloud Sync (Pro)" below.
AI features (generating plans and AI chat) require signing in with Apple or Google. When you sign in, we receive a unique account identifier and, depending on the provider and your choices, your email address. We use this only to secure your account, link your subscription, and apply fair-use limits — never for advertising.
When you generate a plan or use AI chat, the content of your request is sent to our server and on to the AI provider to generate a response. This content is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers or used to train AI models.
To prevent abuse and enforce free and paid limits, we store a randomly generated device identifier and per-account usage counts on our server. We also record basic first-party usage analytics — events such as when a plan is generated or an AI chat is sent, together with your account identifier and whether you are a Pro subscriber — to understand how features are used and keep the service reliable. None of this contains the content of your ideas or chats, and we do not use any third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Paid subscriptions ("ClearAIdea Pro") are processed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and managed via RevenueCat, which receives your account identifier and subscription status to unlock Pro features. We do not receive your full payment card details.
If you subscribe to ClearAIdea Pro, your ideas, tasks, phases, and notes can be stored on our servers (Supabase) and linked to your account so they stay in sync across your devices. This content is stored solely to provide the sync feature — it is never used for advertising, sold, or shared, and is not used to train AI models. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is permanently removed when you delete your account. Free users' content is never uploaded.
We do not collect your name or contacts, we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising. We do not store the content of your AI chats on our servers. (Pro Cloud Sync stores your ideas and tasks so they can sync across devices — see above; and we keep basic first-party usage analytics — see "Usage & Analytics" above.)
ClearAIdea relies on: Supabase (account authentication and as a secure relay for AI requests), Google Gemini (to generate AI responses), RevenueCat (to manage subscriptions), and Apple and Google (as sign-in providers). Their respective privacy policies apply to data they process.
Content stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the app. Account data held on our servers (your account identifier, your email if provided, and usage counts) is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all of its server-side data at any time directly in the app under Settings → Account → Delete Account. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete server-side account data.
ClearAIdea is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
